The trip starts at the bus stop in Durres. Around 07:30 the group meets with the guide; during this time the guide makes a short description of itinerary. At 8:00, we leave for the historical city of Gjirokaster. After half an hour, we have a short stop at "Joti" Complex.

At about 10.00, we arrive at the Cold Water in Tepelenë, which is one of the most well-known sources in Albania. What makes this source special is the fact that it is fed by atmospheric precipitation and its appearance on the surface is made possible by the drying of limestone rocks (karst activity). The wonderful view of this resource gives us the opportunity to make wonderful photos. If we wish we can eat lunch in the nearby restaurant. If we continue our journey to the stone city of Gjirokastra. After lunch we will visit some part of Gjirokastra city.

One of the oldest neighborhoods in this city is that of the Bazaar. By the end, it has been reconstructed and has given it a completely different view of the city. In it we can find hand made works of the masters who have learned it their crafts from grandparents and leaving them legacy in the hands of the grandchildren.

After that we will visit the Castle of the City which is also declared as a cultural monument and at the same time it is the pride of the Gjirokastra. It was built in 1336 and over the years has undergone changes to its original construction.

Another wonderful site is the Lake of Viro which has been declared a natural monument because of its underwater world.

Antigonea is an ancient city which had a short history somewhere in 150 years. It was ruled by King Pirro of Epirus and was destroyed by the war between the Romans and the Epiriots in 168 BC.
